I’m
from San Angelo, Texas which is a rather small town in the western part of Texas. I have two wonderful grown sons, a cute Yorkie (Biscuit) and probably the biggest golden
retriever you've ever seen (Troy).
I
have a successful career in the Finance/Accounting field, but after the loss of
my husband, I realized I didn't have any hobbies, and I desperately needed
something to do. So I started
writing to help me focus on positive things in life, and I slowly started learning other crafts as well.
I've learned that life is about change and how we deal with whatever circumstances comes our way. Life experiences have forced me to deal with a tragic loss, grieving,
being a single mom, changing jobs several times, keeping a positive attitude, and just surviving through
life. I don’t know if I would have gotten through these difficult times without God in my life.
Some articles are sentimental to
me and others are just for fun. I started
this blog to share stories, foods, and crafts.
Most of the things I do are simple, and anyone should be able to recreate these ideas as well. I hope you find something you enjoy viewing or reading.
My
goal is to be inspiring and help others focus on the positive things in life!
